Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and friendly Front Desk Receptionist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our clients and visitors, providing exceptional customer service while managing various administrative tasks. This role requires strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment. Small medical clinic seeking a part-time front desk receptionist, Hours of operation ONLY Tuesdays and Thursdays 9:30am-5:30 pm with one hour lunch.
Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome visitors in a professional manner, ensuring a positive first impression.
- Manage incoming calls with excellent phone etiquette, directing calls to appropriate personnel or taking messages as necessary.
- Schedule appointments and manage calendars for staff members, ensuring efficient use of time and resources.
- Maintain an organized front desk area, keeping it clean and presentable at all times.
- Perform clerical duties such as filing, data entry, and maintaining records accurately.
- Assist with administrative tasks as needed, including handling correspondence and preparing documents.
- Utilize phone systems effectively to manage communications within the office.
- Provide support to other departments as required, fostering a collaborative work environment.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a receptionist or in a similar administrative role is preferred.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Proficient computer literacy with experience in office software applications.
- Familiarity with calendar management and scheduling tools is highly desirable.
- Experience as a medical office receptionist/technician is a plus but not mandatory.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information professionally, must be HIPPA compliant.
- Knowledgeable with health insurance including verifying health insurance policies, copays, deductibles, allowances, etc.
- Knowledgeable with RevolutionEHR electronic health record system is a plus.
- A friendly demeanor with strong interpersonal skills to interact positively with clients and team members alike.
