We are looking for a corporate Legal and Risk Specialist to join EyeCare Partners' growing legal department. The ideal candidate enjoys working with people and independently managing projects and day-to-day tasks and has experience in healthcare risk management. This role is crucial to maintaining and enhancing the organization's resilience and ability to navigate uncertainties effectively. You will play a key role in shaping the company's risk management strategy and culture, ensuring sustainable growth and operational excellence in a dynamic business environment.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities (Essential Functions) :
General
- Assisting in responding to Complaints from various state authorities (e.g., Attorney General Consumer Complaints, State Medical Boards, Better Business Bureau)
- Develop an in-depth understanding of ECP's business units and insurance policies
- Implementing and maintaining contracts, policies and other legal department records
- Preparing and reviewing routine legal department documents, including business associate agreements, insurance claim forms, discovery request responses, etc.)
- Other duties as assigned
