Optometric Assistant Technician for Eye Doctor's Optometry Office
Family oriented Optometry office seeking to find a candidate who is a fast learner and can be part of our exciting team. We are looking for an enthusiastic, positive, and self motivated individual to join our team. This individual will be responsible for patient flow through the office with emphasis on routine tasks.

Our practice is devoted to personalized care, so a friendly upbeat and outgoing personality is an absolute must!

Routine tasks include, but are not limited to; pre-test patients, frame selection, answering phones, understanding OfficeMate software and insurance duties .

Experience in the optical field is a HUGE plus , but is not necessarily critical for an interview. We are willing to train the right individual.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of ophthalmology and medical terminology
• Experience in a medical office setting
• Proficient in anatomy and physiology
• Skilled in patient care and intake processes
• Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and aseptic techniques
• Experience with EMR systems, particularly Epic
• Retail sales experience and understanding of retail math
• Ability to collaborate effectively in a clinical environment

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 39 per week
