In this role, you will be the first point of contact for patients and visitors, providing exceptional customer service while managing front desk operations in a fast-paced medical environment. You will play a crucial role in ensuring smooth patient flow and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere.
Responsibilities
- Greet patients and visitors warmly, providing them with information and assistance as needed.
- Manage appointment scheduling, confirmations, and cancellations efficiently.
- Handle patient check-ins and check-outs, ensuring all necessary paperwork is completed accurately.
- Maintain patient records with confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations.
- Process medical billing and insurance claims accurately.
- Collaborate with medical staff to ensure seamless patient care and communication.
- Utilize Revolution software for managing patient information and appointments effectively.
- Assist in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the front desk area.
- Address any patient inquiries or concerns promptly, ensuring high levels of satisfaction.
- Assist with Pre-testing of patients when needed.
Skills
- Proficiency in using Revolution software is preferred for efficient patient management.
- Experience with insurance protocols are advantageous.
- Excellent customer service skills with a focus on patient care and satisfaction.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Previous experience in a front desk role within a medical office or clinic setting is beneficial.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively.
- Experienced Optometric Technician a plus. We are willing to train.
