Requirements for this Scribe job
To excel as a Scribe at the EYE CLINIC OF WISCONSIN, candidates should possess a high school diploma, with a CMSS or Medical Assistant certification required within six months of employment, or a COA within the first year. A solid understanding of medical terminology is crucial, along with demonstrated knowledge of the proper, safe, and efficient use of medical and office equipment. Success in this role requires the ability to thrive in a fast-paced medical facility while strictly adhering to HIPAA compliance regulations.
Relevant customer service experience is essential, as is the capacity to see each patient as an individual, recognizing and meeting their unique needs. Work Conditions
Eye Clinic of Wisconsin has multiple locations. While staff will be assigned to a "home" location, travel to satellites is a requirement of the position. Hours of work will be dependent on the needs of the Clinic. Requires the ability to sit or stand for extended periods of time. Occasional lifting (30 pounds), bending, stooping, pushing, pulling, and climbing stairs is required.
