What are the responsibilities and job description for the RN Office Nurse position at Eye Consultants of Pennsylvania?
Eye Consultants of Pennsylvania has an exciting opportunity for a full time RN Office Nurse at the Wyomissing office. This position reports directly to the Wyomissing Technician Supervisor. This Monday through Friday position works directly with the Optometrists and Physicians to advocate for patient care.
The RN Office Nurse communicates with patients concerning post-op and pre-op medications. Contacts patients to follow up on the success of a prior procedure and to answer any additional questions.
Other job duties include but not limited to:
- Inbox manager. Receive and handle tasks from all offices, physicians, and Optometrists.
- Prescription refills and prior authorizations of patient prescriptions.
- Orders supplies and distribute to all the offices.
- RN duties would be to assess patients and medication management within office.
- Order retinal injectable medications. Injections for fluorescein angiography.
- Research and keep up to date on eye medications and their availability.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
