Job Description
Eye Designs Group, the leader in ophthalmic environments has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Space Planner within our organization. The ideal candidate will be an experienced in creating shells, 2D and 3D drawings, as well as space planning based on client specifications.
Space Planner Responsibilities:
- Create shells, 2D and 3D drawings based on client specifications.
- Collaborate with sales reps to create efficient floor plans for clients.
- Periodically archive CAD files.
- Organize and maintain the Design library; order supplies/samples as needed and resolve any issues with incorrect supplies/samples received.
- Keep CAD design plans organized.
- Participate in meetings with Design Reps as requested.
- Communicate with clients and contractors as needed to complete drawings.
Space Planner Requirements:
- Associates Degree in computer aided drafting or Interior Design; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- One (1) or more years of space planning experience.
- One (1) or more years of experience using AutoCAD software to create 2D and 3D drawings.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications such as Word, Excel and Outlook.
- Proficient in AutoCAD, 2D & 3D.
- Basic knowledge in space planning principles and techniques.

Pay: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
