Eye Level is looking to hire a Teaching Assistant to assist Instructors to tutor students from grades K to 6. This is a part-time, year-round position. All materials are provided. High Schoolers are encouraged to apply.
Location: North Cumming, GA
Work Hours: After school hours, from 4 to 7pm
Rate: Best in state
Job Responsibilities:
- Assist with classroom instruction, including leading activities and providing individual or small group support.
- Help with preparing materials and organizing the classroom.
- May be involved in grading assignments and providing feedback to students.
- Observe and record student progress, and report this information to the teacher.
- May assist with managing student behavior and ensuring a safe learning environment.
Job Expectations:
- Patient, empathetic, encouraging and enjoys working with children.
- Proficient in English and Math.
- Someone who is flexible, and can multitask and work with multiple students at a time.
- Fosters a safe and nurturing learning environment where students feel comfortable being themselves, making mistakes, and asking questions.
