What are the responsibilities and job description for the Ophthalmic Scribe position at Eye Physicians and Surgeons of Durham?
Our ophthalmology practice seeks to hire a scribe. The position has traditionally been held by pre-med students. Premed students taking a gap year or two before starting medical school are encouraged to apply.
The ideal candidate has strong customer service skills, a consistently professional demeanor, and a desire to learn the clinical side of ophthalmology,
Candidates should be quick learners, and interested in working along side the doctor to care for patients. This position will involve working in all aspects of the clinic to help the clinic function smoothly.
Previous medical scribe experience is required.

Pay: $12.00 - $15.00 per hour
