Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Optometrist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing comprehensive eye care, including vision examinations, diagnosis, and treatment of visual disorders. This role requires a strong commitment to patient care and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. The Optometrist will also engage in patient education regarding eye health and the importance of regular eye exams.
Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive eye exams, providing thorough and thoughtful care to each patient.
- Diagnose and treat eye diseases, manage ocular conditions, and co-manage pre- and post-operative patients.
- 10-20 patients a day with full tech support and assistant to help with writing referral letters
- Fit contact lenses
- Collaborate with our team to continue providing the high-quality, individualized care Eye Pros is known for.
Requirements
- Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree from an accredited institution is required
- Knowledge of medical coding and aseptic techniques is beneficial.
- Valid Idaho License
- Strong communication skills and a commitment to delivering excellent patient care
- An interest in building long-term relationships with patients and being an integral part of the Spanish Fork community
