EYE-Q Vision Care is seeking applicants for the position of Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to join our Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC) Department. Are you an LVN looking for a daytime shift and no weekends? We are looking for someone with exceptional customer service skills who can provide quality care to our patients.

PAY RANGE: $24.20 - $38.50 depending on skills, experience, and education.

DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Performs preop calls to patients.
- Reviews health history, medications, and any allergies.
- Provides patients with specific instructions for surgeries.
- Answers any questions the patients may have about the surgeries.
- Displays knowledge of preop medications.
- Performs administrative duties pertinent to position.
- Communicates with patients and family as appropriate.
- Knowledge of health care laws, regulations, and nursing care methods and procedures.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Advanced knowledge of EMRs.
- Exceptional organizational and multitasking skills.
- High school diploma/GED.
- Graduation from an accredited school of nursing and current licensure in California from the Board of Vocational Nursing and Psychiatric Technicians.
- Ophthalmic/plastics surgery experience (preferred).
