EYE-Q Vision Care is seeking applicants for the position of Patient Services Representative to join our team. Are you looking to grow and develop your career in Ophthalmology? We are seeking an employee with great interpersonal skills who can develop relationships with patients and staff. This position will require working closely with patients and visitors to conduct their check-ins and assist with questions regarding appointments, insurances, and balances. These procedures will require a technologically savvy candidate with world-class customer service experience.
DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Greets patients and visitors (vendors, etc.) in a courteous and professional manner.
- Directs visitors to their destination.
- Covers both checkin and checkout processes.
- Assists with patient requests for forms (DMV, etc.) and medical records requests.
- Ensures insurance is verified.
- Collects outstanding balances and posting payments.
REQUIRED SKILLS/ABILITIES:
- Bilingual in Spanish (preferred but not required).
- Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to use or learn computer programs such as Microsoft Excel and NextGen.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
- Sixmonths to oneyear related experience and/or technical school training.
- Electronic Medical Records experience (preferred but not required).
Preference will be given to applicants with experience in an optical setting. This is a full time position with a benefits package. Hourly rate will be determined based on experience and training of the candidate.

POSITION LOCATION: EYE-Q Vision Care practice sites are located in Fresno, Clovis, and Selma.

PAY RANGE: $21.00 - $28.00 depending on skills, experience, and education.
