What are the responsibilities and job description for the Optometric Assistant position at Eye Surgeons Associates PC?
We are seeking a professional Optometric Assistant. The Optometric Assistant assists the doctor by performing general patient work ups along with documentation in the patient electronic health record. The assistant also performs history taking, visual acuity and other testing, prepares exam lanes, stocks supplies and ensures testing equipment functions properly.

Requirements:
- Must have a high school diploma or equivalent
- Must have either a Medical Assisting or Optometric/Ophthalmic Assisting Certification
- Must be able to work cohesively with the optometrist requiring minimal supervision.
- Must possess good interpersonal and communication skills, have strong computer skills and good attention to detail.
Monday- Friday 7:30am-5pm
