Eye Surgeons Associates is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our ophthalmology practice. The ideal candidate will serve as a triage specialist screening, coordinating and scheduling patients who need to be seen on an urgent basis. The position requires strong organizational skills, detailed medical record documentation and commitment to quality patient care while upholding our core values of quality, service, efficiency, and integrity.

Required Qualifications:
- Active RN license in Iowa and Illinois
- Current CPR certification
- Basic computer skills
- Strong math and communication abilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Triage patient phone calls and determine the necessary urgency of the symptoms per ESA triage
protocol
- Return calls to patients promptly and courteously.
- Refill prescriptions as directed.
- Communicate with after-hours exchange and appropriate facilities.
- Complete pre-authorization for mediations and patient assistance.
- Inject intravenous dyes for diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
- Monitor and treat patients who become ill or injured while in office as indicated and as directed by
physicians.
Reports to: Chief Clinical Officer
Schedule – Monday – Friday 8am-5pm
