The Eye Surgery Center of Elizabethtown seeks a seasoned RN to assume the role of Charge Nurse in our Ambulatory Surgery Center. In this position, you will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations, managing a team of nursing staff, and ensuring adherence to healthcare regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate breaks, lunches, daily log checks, schedules, and enforce policies
- Assess, plan, implement, evaluate, and document patient care according to established Federal, State, and accreditation standards
- Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe environment
Requirements
- At least 1 year of Charge Nurse/management experience is required, preferably in an Operating Room, Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC), and/or hospital
- Experience with infection control preferred
- Must have previous Nursing experience in at least one of the following settings: Operating Room (OR), Pre-Op/Post-Op, Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU), Intensive Care Unit (ICU)
- Valid Kentucky Registered Nurse (RN) License required
- Bachelor's of Science Degree in Nursing preferred
