Job Overview
The Eye Surgery Center of Elizabethtown is seeking a skilled and experienced RN Charge Nurse to oversee the daily operations of our Ambulatory Surgery Center. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring efficient patient care and adherence to healthcare standards.
Responsibilities
- Manage a nursing team and coordinate patient schedules
- Participate in direct patient care and promote a safe and clean environment
- Assess, plan, implement, evaluate, and document nursing care of patients
Requirements
- At least 1 year of Charge Nurse/management experience in an Operating Room, Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC), or hospital
- Previous Nursing experience in at least one of the following settings: Operating Room (OR), Pre-Op/Post-Op, Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU), Intensive Care Unit (ICU)
- Graduate of an accredited Nursing Program required; Bachelors of Science Degree in Nursing preferred
- Valid Kentucky Registered Nurse (RN) License required; Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; Adult Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred
