Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Charge Nurse to join our team at the Eye Surgery Center of Elizabethtown. As a Charge Nurse, you will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, managing staff, and ensuring high standards of patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversight of daily operations and management of staff
- Ensuring high standards of patient care and adherence to federal, state, and accreditation standards
- Assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation, and documentation of nursing care
Requirements:
- At least 1 year of Charge Nurse/management experience in an Operating Room, Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC), or hospital
- Previous experience in an Operating Room, Pre-Op/Post-Op, Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU), or Intensive Care Unit (ICU)
- Valid Kentucky Registered Nurse (RN) License required
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- Adult Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred
