Job Summary
We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Charge Nurse to join our team at the Eye Surgery Center of Elizabethtown. As a Charge Nurse, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our Ambulatory Surgery Center and ensuring high-quality nursing care for patients undergoing eye procedures.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate breaks, lunches, daily log checks, schedules, and enforce policies
- Assess, plan, implement, evaluate, and document nursing care of patients
- Participate in direct patient care and maintain a clean, orderly, and safe environment
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operation of the facility
Requirements
- At least 1 year of Charge Nurse/management experience in an Operating Room, Ambulatory Surgery Center, or hospital
- Experience managing a team of at least 20 direct reports
- Previous Nursing experience in Operating Room (OR), Pre-Op/Post-Op, Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU), Intensive Care Unit (ICU)
- Graduate of an accredited Nursing Program required; Bachelors of Science Degree in Nursing preferred
