Job Description:
Responsible for the day-to-day smooth running of the facility; including but not limited to coordinating breaks/lunches, daily log checks, schedules, and enforcing policies.
Assesses, plans, implements, evaluates and documents nursing care of patients in accordance with established Federal, State and accreditation standards.
Participates in direct patient care and maintains a clean, orderly and safe environment.

Required Education and Experience
- Graduate of an accredited Nursing Program required.
- Bachelors of Science Degree in Nursing preferred.
- Valid Kentucky Registered Nurse (RN) License required.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- Adult Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred.
- At least 1 year of Charge Nurse/management experience is required, preferably in an Operating Room, Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC) and/or hospital.
Language Skills/Computer Skills
- To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of NextGen Database software and Microsoft Word.
Physical Demands
- The employee must be able to walk, stand and sit for prolonged periods of time.
- Occasionally be able to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
- Occasionally be able to push up to an excess of 200 pounds.
- Occasionally be able to pull/lift patients with the assistance of other personnel and or assistive devices, up to an excess of 400-500 pounds.
