Ambulatory Surgery Center Nurse Leader Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Charge Nurse to lead our Ambulatory Surgery Center team at Eye Surgery Center of Elizabethtown. As a seasoned nurse leader, you will oversee the day-to-day operations, ensuring a smooth and efficient environment for both staff and patients. Your expertise in managing a team and providing direct patient care in the operating room and recovery settings will be invaluable.
In this role, you will assess, plan, implement, evaluate, and document nursing care in accordance with established standards. Your ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and staff will be essential in maintaining positive relationships and ensuring seamless care delivery.
Requirements:
- At least one year of Charge Nurse/management experience, preferably in an Operating Room, Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC) and/or hospital.
- Previous nursing experience in the Operating Room (OR), Pre-Op/Post-Op, Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU), or Intensive Care Unit (ICU).
- Valid Kentucky Registered Nurse (RN) License and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- Adult Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred.
