About the Job:
The Eye Surgery Center of Elizabethtown is seeking an experienced and skilled Surgical Services Director to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day activities of our surgical services department, including coordinating schedules and enforcing policies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate patient care and maintain accurate medical records
- Supervise and direct patient care in an individual operating room
- Report unusual occurrences to charge personnel and document appropriately
- Maintain effective communication with patients, families, physicians, and other staff
Requirements:
- Master's degree in Nursing
- At least 3 years of experience in a supervisory or management role
- Prior experience in an Operating Room, ASC, or hospital
- Advanced life support certification
