Job Overview
The Eye Surgery Center of Elizabethtown is seeking an experienced Charge Nurse to oversee the daily operations of our Ambulatory Surgery Center.
As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for coordinating schedules, executing patient assessments, and participating in direct patient care. Your focus on collaboration and communication will ensure a safe environment and compliance with healthcare regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate daily operations and ensure efficient workflow
- Supervise and direct nursing staff to deliver high-quality patient care
- Maintain accurate records and reports
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and accreditation standards
Requirements:
- 1 year of Charge Nurse/management experience in an Operating Room, Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC), or hospital
- Experience managing a team of at least 20 direct reports
- Previous Nursing experience in an Operating Room (OR), Pre-Op/Post-Op, Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU), or Intensive Care Unit (ICU)
- Graduate of an accredited Nursing Program required
- Bachelor's of Science Degree in Nursing preferred
- Valid Kentucky Registered Nurse (RN) License required
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
