The SAP Functional Analyst - FICO will look for ways to deliver business value faster and, in a user-friendly way to the business.
Essential Responsibilities
- Work closely with project teams in the prioritization, testing, and deployment of system change requests
- Participate in requirements gathering, perform fit-gap analysis, design, support development, functional unit testing, support user acceptance testing for SAP FICO processes including general ledger, accounts receivable, accounts payable, cost & profit center accounting, internal orders, fixed assets, project systems, product costing and profitability analysis and month-end closing.
- Document detailed product requirements and use cases to deliver a stable and scalable solution.
- Ability to demonstrate to the business standard SAP Fiori apps available
- Translate business requirements into functional specifications, coordinate with the ABAP team and ensure a clear and complete understanding of the requirements.
- Prepare Unit test scripts, integration tests and job aids for the business to have ability to perform their functions.
- Participate in thorough testing of the changes to guarantee quality product for the business
- Work closely with various technical teams to ensure consistency, quality of solutions and knowledge sharing across the enterprise
- Perform production support activities through incident and problem management processes. Troubleshoot and diagnose issues and coordinate with business and technical teams to resolve them based on SAP best practice processes.
- Work with cross-functional team members in SAP (Supply chain, SD, ABAP, Purchasing), Integration, BI, and other non-SAP applications to design efficient and secure data exchange integrations.
- Experience in working with the cross functional team members to develop business solutions
- Bachelor’s degree related to information technology, software engineering or computer science
- 2 years of professional experience in SAP FICO and knowledge of S4 HANA on cloud is a plus.
- Experience working in at least a couple of modules in FICO and involved in production support activities.
- Knowledge of SAP landscape with integrations to other business solutions including SAP CPI, Concur, Coupa would be a plus.
- Strong interpersonal, conceptual, presentation and communication skills to sell ideas to business stakeholders.
- Excellent communication skills to interact with business stakeholders and technical teams
- Ability to work effectively in a flexible and changing environment, manage multiple activities and priorities, and work well under pressure.
