Medical Receptionist / Front Desk – Optometric Private Practice - Full Time / Part Time
About the Medical Receptionist / Front Desk Position
We are a new Optometric private practice in Orlando/ Dr. Phillips /O-Town West/ Lake Buena Vista area with an emphasis on creating a culture where patients and team members feel they are part of a family. You will be working with a fantastic team.
We thrive off of the positive experience that each patient has: From the interaction at the front desk when they first walk in the door, to the time they spend in the exam chair, and then assisting them with all of their optical needs.
We are looking for a personable, friendly, and energetic person to join our team. You will be the first impression for our patients and customers. We need a candidate that has experience in the field, exceptional communication skills, is flexible as the office grows, has the ability to multitask, and most of all the passion to be instrumental in helping to lay the foundation for our growing company.

Medical Receptionist / Front Desk Roles and Responsibilities:
· Scheduling appointments
· Verifying insurance plans
· Greeting patients and customers
· Stocking and Inventory
· Submitting insurance claims
· Maintaining a clean and organized work environment
· Answering phone calls
· Marketing tasks
· Receive, sort, and distribute daily mail/deliveries
· Perform other clerical receptionist duties such as scanning, filing, photocopying, transcribing, and faxing
Skills:
· Proven work experience as a Receptionist and/or Front Office Representative
· Multitasking and Organization skills
· Experience with Microsoft Office Suite or Google Suite productivity tools
· Customer Service focus
· Excellent communication skills
Desired Qualifications:
· Experience in Optometry, Ophthalmology practice, or similar setting
· Bilingual in Spanish and/or Portuguese
Education:
· High School diploma or equivalent
Schedule: (Fulltime/Parttime)
· Monday to Friday office hours
· Select weekend availability (Saturdays)
