EyeMD EMR Healthcare Systems, Inc. is seeking a dynamic and technically proficient Sales Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in bridging the gap between our advanced EMR solutions and the needs of prospective clients. This role requires a blend of technical expertise, customer-facing skills, and the ability to translate complex technical features into relatable benefits. You will work closely with Account Executives to deliver tailored product demonstrations, provide pre-sales technical consultation, and ensure a smooth and effective sales process.
The Sales Engineer is responsible for crafting and delivering engaging product demonstrations, addressing technical questions, and serving as a trusted resource to prospective clients. This individual should be exceedingly organized, a skilled communicator, technically knowledgeable, and ready to take on all assigned responsibilities. Our ideal candidate thrives on problem-solving, enjoys collaboration, and contributes to the refinement of EyeMD EMR's sales strategy.
WHAT BASIC QUALIFICATIONS YOU’LL NEED:
- Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Healthcare Informatics, or a related field.
- Minimum of three (3) years of experience as a Sales Engineer or pre-sales technical role, preferably within healthcare IT or EMR systems.
- Strong understanding of EMR systems, healthcare workflows, and related technologies.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities, with the ability to explain technical concepts to diverse audiences.
- Proven ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and contribute to overall sales success.
- Analytical mindset with problem-solving skills to address challenges and offer effective solutions.
- Willingness to travel as required for client meetings and demonstrations.
WHAT WE WOULD LIKE YOU TO HAVE:
- Experience working with ophthalmology practices or familiarity with the ophthalmology industry.
- Technical experience in conducting product demonstrations and addressing pre-sales inquiries.
- Familiarity with competitor offerings in healthcare IT.
- Ability to contribute technical insights to proposal development and sales strategies.
- Preference given to HQ office-based candidates (2 days/week).
