GENERAL FUNCTION
The Manager of Implementation will lead client implementations. Responsibilities include driving for definition of scope of work, defining the project timeline, driving closure to cross-functional/non-standard issues, driving the client/internal functional areas to meet key deliverables, and successful implementation of the overall project. The Manager will ensure complete and accurate business processes are created to meet the long-term administrative needs of the client and EyeMed. The Manager will communicate to the Client and EyeMed Leadership teams in a timely and accurate manner the overall project status, key milestones and outstanding issues of client implementations.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Supports Sales/Service team in review of new business opportunities to gain an understanding of client administrative needs, member experience, provider experience and provide perspective/potential solutions for anticipated issues in terms of compliance with EyeMed standards of administration and best practices.
- Supports Service team in review of retention, migration and client growth opportunities to gain an understanding of client administrative needs, member experience, provider experience and provide perspective/potential solutions for anticipated issues in terms of compliance with EyeMed standards of administration and best practices.
- Responsible for overall management and execution of client implementations including definition of scope and project timeline/deliverables, effectively managing project timeline to insure on-time completion of deliverables and deployment for plan effective date, manage client expectations related to plan administration and support, manage resolution of non-standard administrative items, tracking and communication of project status and issues to EyeMed /Client leadership teams.
- Responsible for providing complete and timely communication and reporting to supervisor related to Client Projects in process, including project status, progress on key deliverables, proactive communication of client issues and status of outstanding issues being worked.
- Complies with standards of administration and plan implementation process as defined by functional areas. Responsible for meeting deadlines as defined by various functional areas to support provider communication, open enrollment support, ID card production and underwriter compliance.
- Manages data entry and tracking of group implementations using SalesForce. Follows-up with functional area as needed to resolve exceptions versus defined process standards.
- Effectively communicates details of group implementation to account service owner at completion of implementation.
- Responsible for maintaining compliance with current state insurance requirements in terms of new plan implementation and renewal process
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor Degree or equivalent experience
- 5 years of experience in Client Operations/Client Implementations
- Strong verbal and written communication skills across function lines including Sales team, Membership, Finance and externally with clients
- Solid knowledge of Microsoft Project, Word, Excel, and SalesForce
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Master’s Degree
- At least 5 years in Project Management Healthcare implementations
- Knowledge of vision benefits and/or insurance industry
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Project, Word, Excel, and SalesForce
