As an EyePoint Intern, you will:

Responsibilities
The Summer Intern will be responsible for assisting with formulation and process development of ophthalmic drug products.
Key areas of responsibility
- Execute developmental activities for ocular formulations and process development.
- Interpret data and provide recommendations.
- Maintain a detailed and organized laboratory notebook and share findings in technical presentations.
- Develop expertise and knowledge around ocular formulations.
- Ensure compliance to safety and regulations as well as experimental laboratory best practices.
Qualifications
Primary skills and knowledge required include, but are not limited to the following:
- Currently enrolled in a university, pursuing an undergrad/grad degree
- Laboratory research experience (particularly formulations) is a plus (academic or industry).
- Excellent team player with strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
- Personal Qualities: Bright, energetic, hard-working, and creative
Level of Education Required:
- Must be a student in a Bachelor’s degree program at an accredited college/university
- Undergraduate student with a minimum of Rising <Junior/Senior> status.
Preferred Field(s) of Study:
Pharmaceutical Sciences, Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, or related discipline
