The Director of First Impressions is a vital full time role within our organization, serving as the first point of contact for clients and visitors. Primary duties include but are not limited to:
- Greet patients warmly, providing an exceptional first impression of the company
- Manage incoming calls and emails, directing inquiries to the appropriate departments
- Oversee calendar management, scheduling appointments
- Catalog/record patient information in a health maintenance program
- Direct patient flow through the office
- Explain the importance of Special Testing to patients
- Answer phones, gather information to direct calls to appropriate department
- Manage patient communications through phone, text, and email
- Maintain a full schedule by ensuring appointment confirmations and cancellations are in a timely manner
- Schedule, reschedule, and cancel appointments as needed
- Take payments and have the ability to understand and explain itemized invoice for patients
- Dispense, repair, and adjust glasses
- Dispensing of contact lenses (insertion, removal, and care training)
- Verify/obtain authorizations and interpret vision plans
- Must have an assertive desire to learn a variety of duties as the office needs change
- Sales floor incentives available
Requirements:
- Customer service oriented
- Work effectively with coworkers and patients
- Strong ability to multitask
- Organized and detail oriented
Ideal Candidate:
- Previous retail or hospitality experience
- 2 years retail or restaurant experience
- Bilingual
- Working knowledge of vision plans and health insurance plans
- Previous medical field experience
- Must be teachable and willing to learn
