Overview
Eyes Of Texas in Bryan Texas is a single-location private practice seeking a part-time or full-time associate optometrist.
Our office has three fully equipped exam lanes with digital phoropters and state-of-the-art equipment including EIDON ultra wide fundus camera, OCT, visual field, NCT, iCare tonometry, topographer and Crystal PM EHR. We offer comprehensive care with a strong emphasis on medical optometry with full technician and dedicated scribe support to allow you to focus on providing personalized care to each patient.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive eye examinations to assess vision and diagnose eye conditions.
- Prescribe corrective lenses, including glasses and contact lenses, based on individual patient needs.
- Provide education to patients regarding eye health, preventive care, and treatment options.
- Maintain accurate patient records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care.
- Stay informed about advancements in optometry practices and technologies.
- Assist in the optical sales process by recommending appropriate eyewear solutions.
- Utilize aseptic techniques when performing procedures or handling equipment.
Hours:
Office hours are Monday 9:00-6:00, Tuesday-Thursday 8:30-5:30, and Friday 9:00-1:00. Doctor hours are Monday - Thursday. No weekends and half-day Fridays allow for a great work-life balance in a family-friendly community!
