Bookstore Operations Associate (Part-time)

Role Description

This is a part-time, on-site role for a Bookstore Operations Associate located in St. Louis, MO. The Bookstore Operations Associate will support bookstore operations, assist with book fairs, and help process bulk book orders. This is a great opportunity for someone passionate about books and education who wants hands-on experience in bookstore operations and community partnership coordination.

Ideal Candidate:

• Experience in sales, outreach, or partnership management (education-related experience is a plus)
• Comfortable with proactive outreach to schools, libraries, and community organizations
• Highly motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision
• Strong communication skills and ability to build and maintain relationships
• Organized and detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks
• Passionate about books, literacy, and education

Job Type: Part-time (15–20 hours per week, with the potential for increased hours as new partnership opportunities arise)

Compensation: $15/hour commission (plus opportunities for bonuses)
