We are looking for an Optometric Technician to join our team and provide exceptional patient care. The ideal candidate will have experience in the field of optometry, including performing eye exams, fitting contact lenses, and helping patients select the right frames. The Optometric Technician will also be responsible for administrative duties such as scheduling appointments and entering patient information into our system. We are looking for a team player who is passionate about providing quality service to our patients.
Responsibilities:
- Assist optometrists in providing patient care.
- Perform preliminary tests such as visual acuity, color vision, and depth perception.
- Administer eye drops and other medications as instructed by the optometrist.
- Educate patients on proper eye care and contact lens use.
- Maintain patient records and charts.
- Assist with fitting of contact lenses.
- Perform administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments, filing paperwork, and collecting payments.
- Help with collecting and entering Insurance
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: From $16.00 per hour
