Civil Design Engineer

Eyncon Engineering is a multi-disciplinary design and consulting firm which specializes in various Construction Engineering projects. We have an immediate opening for an experienced Civil designer to work in our McKinney, TX office. This position is well suited for a PE or an EIT 6 months out from obtaining PE license.

Responsibilities

• Design and oversee grading, erosion control, sanitary sewer systems, water distribution, storm sewers, and roadways.
• Develop drainage plans for commercial and industrial projects and conduct hydrology studies as required.
• Lead the design and implementation of subdivisions from initial concept through to permitting and project completion.
• Review and monitor drawings to ensure compliance with quality standards.
• Coordinate and schedule tasks to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
• Collaborate with engineering design staff, clients, and other disciplines to achieve project objectives.
• Facilitate Zoom or Teams meetings with clients and engineers as needed.
• Demonstrate the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited university (Required)
• 4 years professional work experience (Including Internships)
• Basic knowledge of construction practices.
• Hard working, self-motivated, and able to work with minimal supervision.
• Team player who is committed to professional development
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. for any employer without sponsorship

Experience:

• Civil Design: 3 years (Required)
• Experience with AutoCAD and Civil 3D (Required)
