SUMMARY: The primary responsibility of the Inventory Control Clerk is to maintain the accuracy of company inventory. This includes receiving Purchase Orders (PO), Manufacturing Orders (MO), and Transfers. Performing regular cycle counts and assisting with semi-annual physical inventory counts are also key responsibilities of the Inventory Control Clerk.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Unload trucks using forklifts and pallet jacks and verify Bills of Lading and Packing Slips are correct.
· Use Packing Slips and POs to receive incoming materials from vendors into GP and report any discrepancies to Inventory Control Supervisor and Procurement.
· Provide support documentation to Accounts Payable in a timely manner.
· Work with Quality Control to ensure incoming material meets specifications.
· Assist with putting inventory away in proper locations.
- Work with Manufacturing leads to ensure accuracy of quantities recorded on MOs.
- Verify MOs for accuracy and receive into GP.
· Assist Material Handlers in locating misplaced parts.
· Assist Material Handlers in feeding lines when needed.
· Assist with putting away sub-components and finished goods.
· Complete routine transfer paperwork.
· Verify all incoming material and accurately receive transfers into GP.
· Identify, pull, and load all materials to be transferred between locations.
· Verify all outgoing quantities, complete routine transfer paperwork, and accurately enter transfers into GP.
· Assist with delivering packaging and putting away supplies.
- Assist with processing and documenting returns.
- Identify parts when needed.
- Perform daily audits and cycle counts to ensure part numbers, quantities, and locations are accurate.
- Assist with inventory adjustments and reporting as needed.
· Participate in physical inventory count as directed by supervisor.
· Provide support documentation to Accounting department as needed.
· Assist with month-end and year-end processes, including closing MOs.
· Assist Inventory Control Supervisor with monitoring inventory levels.
- Assist in maintaining warehouse organization and cleanliness.
- Ensure warehouse is accessible and safe for employee and visitor traffic.
- Other duties as assigned by management.

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND/ OR REQUIRED SKILLS
· High School Diploma or equivalent.
· Six months experience in a similar roll.
· Ability to obtain company forklift certification.
· Ability to pass DOT driver requirements and drive company vehicles, including 26’ box truck.
LANGUAGE SKILLS:
