Data Center Site Supervisor

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Site Supervision Duties

1. Oversee daily operations of the bitcoin mining site, ensuring maximum uptime and efficiency.

2. Supervise and coordinate the work of maintenance and technical staff.

3. Monitor performance of mining hardware, software, and environmental controls (HVAC, cooling, and power

systems).

4. Maintain compliance with safety protocols, site regulations, and local electrical codes.

5. Manage inventory of essential spare parts, equipment, and tools.

6. Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, and contractors for equipment delivery and repairs.

7. Provide regular operational reports to management, including power usage, equipment status, and incident

reports.

8. Lead emergency response efforts for power outages, equipment failures, and safety incidents.

9. Use and improve upon preventive maintenance schedules for electrical systems and mining equipment.

10. Conduct routine inspections to ensure proper functioning of equipment and adherence to safety standards.

Electrical Duties

1. Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, panels, and power distribution systems.

2. Troubleshoot electrical issues with mining equipment, transformers, and power distribution units (PDUs).

3. Ensure the stability and reliability of the electrical grid supporting mining operations.

4. Perform wiring for new equipment setups, including high-density mining racks.

5. Conduct periodic electrical system testing and documentation.

6. Ensure proper grounding and bonding of all electrical systems.

7. Adhere to electrical codes, regulations, and standards while performing work.

EDUCATION SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

- High school diploma or equivalent (required); Associate’s degree or technical certification in electrical

engineering or a related field (preferred).

- Minimum 3 years of experience as an electrician, preferably in industrial or data center environments.

- Experience in a supervisory or team lead role.

- Knowledge of bitcoin mining operations and equipment (ASIC miners, GPUs, etc.) is highly desirable.

Technical Skills

- Licensed electrician (Journeyman or Master, depending on local requirements).

- Proficiency in electrical installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance.

- Familiarity with power distribution systems, transformers, and cooling systems (HVAC).

- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical documents.
