Job Summary
The Logistics and Marketing Coordinator plays a crucial role in promoting the business through social media and marketing. This position requires knowledge with technology and experience in marketing as well as the operational ins and outs of a moving business. The Logistics and Marketing Coordinator will handle majority of the behind the scenes important duties that help operations run smoothly.
Duties include, but not limited to
- Manage and grow a healthy online social presence using tools such as facebook, Instagram.
- Establish a process creating self sufficiency.
- Manage google ads
- Communicate with clients to understand their needs and provide updates throughout the moving process if necessary.
- Contact clients to gather feedback and information regarding their experience.
- Send updates and friendly reminders to clients.
- Keep track of scheduled appointments and move dates and organize communication with the client for reminders.
- Ensure the business is up to date on the standard licensing and insurances needed to operate in Ohio.
- Find and secure all known ways to decrease costs effectively.
- Follow up with past clients and potential clients.
- Follow up on potential leads and seek future leads through our many strategies.
- Create and send estimates and invoices clients .
- Record Keeping.
- Manage marketing strategies to bring the greatest value to the company.
Skills
- Efficient with time management and utilizing resources.
- Experience managing a moving business operations and increasing revenue.
- Strong customer service skills to effectively interact with clients and address their concerns.
- Familiarity with the industry and basic knowledge and an understanding of how a moving business operates.
- Good communication and organization.
- Experience with computers, technology, and social media.
- The ability to handle multiple tasks at once and put them in priority order.
- Previous experience as a manager for a moving company, manager operating specialist, or in a similar role is advantageous.
