We are seeking a highly skilled Mortgage Loan Originator Assistant to join our team at EZ Fundings Inc. in Rancho Cucamonga, California.
This role requires a unique blend of sales and customer service skills, as well as the ability to manage loan files from beginning to end. Effective communication is essential for building relationships that drive future business.
The successful candidate will have experience in mortgage lending, with a strong understanding of FHA, VA, Conventional, Jumbo loan programs, and Non-QM Loans. Proficiency in loan origination software (Encompass) is also required.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist borrowers with loan applications and document collection.
- Verify income, assets, credit reports, tax returns, and employment records.
- Input and update loan details in loan origination software.
- Communicate with borrowers, realtors, underwriters, and processors to ensure a smooth loan process.
- Run Automated Underwriting System (AUS) reports (DU/LP).
- Order third-party services (appraisals, title work, VOEs, homeowners insurance, etc.).
- Ensure compliance with mortgage lending regulations and guidelines.
- Track loan progress and assist in clearing conditions.
- Coordinate loan closings and ensure all necessary disclosures are completed.
