Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing mechanical systems and components using CAD software primarily Creo.
Duties:
- Design and develop mechanical systems and components using CAD software primarily Creo.
- Conduct Finite Element Analysis (FEA) to evaluate product performance under various conditions.
- Perform root cause analysis to identify issues in existing designs and propose effective solutions.
- Collaborate with manufacturing teams to ensure designs are feasible for CNC machining processes.
- Draft detailed engineering documentation including specifications drawings and reports adhering to GD&T standards.
- Manage project scheduling and timelines to meet deadlines while maintaining quality standards.
- Engage in system design projects contributing to the development of new technologies including quantum engineering applications.
- Participate in design reviews and provide constructive feedback to enhance product development processes.
Experience:
- A Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field is required.
- Proven experience in mechanical design with proficiency in CAD tools such as Creo.
- Familiarity with CNC machining processes and their application in product development is preferred.
- Experience with project scheduling and management is advantageous.
- Knowledge of system design principles and practices is a plus AISC.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to perform root cause analysis effectively.
- Experience with Structural Design & FEA techniques is highly desirable ANSYS / STAAD PRO/ RISA.
Key Requirements:
- Mechanical Engineering degree from an accredited university.
- 5 years of experience in mechanical design with CAD tools like Creo.
- Strong understanding of CNC machining processes and product development.
- Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
