Drywall Installer/Finisher

Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Drywall Finisher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in finishing drywall and a strong understanding of various construction techniques. As a Drywall Finisher, you will be responsible for ensuring that drywall installations are completed to the highest standards, providing a smooth and professional finish. This role requires a commitment to quality workmanship and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Apply tape, mud, and finishes to drywall surfaces to create a smooth and seamless appearance.
• Inspect finished work for quality and consistency, making necessary adjustments as needed.
• Collaborate with other construction associates onsite to ensure project timelines are met.
• Install baseboard trim and other molding as required.
• Assist with water damage restoration projects by repairing and finishing affected drywall areas.
• Utilize wood stud framing techniques as required for various projects.
• Ensure all work complies with safety standards and regulations.

Experience
Candidates should possess the following skills and experience:

• Proven experience as a Drywall Finisher or in a similar role within the construction industry.
• Familiarity with fixture installation, water damage restoration, plumb techniques, maintenance person tasks, construction plumbing, and general restoration industry practices.
• Strong attention to detail with an emphasis on delivering high-quality finishes.
• Ability to read basic technical drawings is preferred.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure while meeting deadlines.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week

Schedule:

• 10 hour shift
• 8 hour shift

Work Location: In person
