Description :
Hotels Unlimited, a family owned hospitality company, is recruiting for a full time property maintenance technician. The candidate must be well organized, self motivated and adaptable to changing situations. Must be able to perform various types of maintenance duties for our commercial properties. Valid drivers license, basic computer skills & general construction knowledge required. This position requires rotational on-call duties for weekends & emergencies.

Reports to : Corporate Maintenance Manager
General duties
The candidate will be part of the maintenance team that oversees the day-to-day
maintenance needs of over 50 commercial properties.
Demonstrate knowledge of basic maintenance and repair skills, including but not limited to, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, fire sprinkler, and irrigation maintenance.
Must be willing to work after hours and respond to emergency calls as needed.
Requirements :
Ability to work independently and possess willingness to learn new skills.
Superb customer service and effective communication skills along with a positive and professional attitude.
Ability to read, write and speak sufficiently to process and discuss work orders correctly.
Ability to use all industry standard hand and power tools like mops, brooms, vacuum cleaners, drills, step ladders, shovels, snow blowers and leaf blowers.
Must be able to perform the following physical activities, Bending, climbing, lifting up to 50 pounds, carrying, grasping, gripping, turning, reaching above shoulders, pushing and pulling, stooping, squatting and kneeling.
Maintain accurate maintenance files and well organized work spaces.
