YOUR OPPORTUNITY As the Senior Accountant for Thom Browne / Zegna, you will play a key role within the Finance group. HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE Oversees the accounting operations for U.S. and Canadian subsidiaries, ensuring accurate financial reporting and compliance across both regions. Manages and leads all intercompany reconciliations, facilitating seamless coordination and accurate elimination of intercompany transactions. Conducts detailed account reconciliations, ensuring the integrity and accuracy of all general ledger accounts. Manages fixed asset reconciliations, ensuring proper recording, valuation, and reporting of all fixed assets. Leads sales reconciliations, ensuring accurate tracking and alignment of sales revenue, from invoicing to financial reporting. Payroll Entries and Reconciling payroll liability accounts for US & Canada Assisting with Sox controls Post Journal Entries as needed provided by Controller, COO, FP&A Director, and Parent Company Month-end and year-end closing activities include preparing journal entries, reconciling accounts, and ensuring timely completion of close Working closely with senior management to make sure sales deadlines are met Asist Finance department with administrative tasks and ad hoc projects as needed Streamlining procedures, systems and activities to achieve improved processes Assist in the preparation and coordination of audits by providing necessary financial information and responding to auditor inquiries WHO YOU ARE : Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance (required). At least 5 years of relevant experience in retail, fashion, consumer packaged goods, or a CPA firm. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (advanced skills required). Experience with SAP is a plus. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage and structure large volumes of data. High attention to detail and accuracy in all aspects of work. Analytical mindset with excellent problem-solving abilities. Results-driven, with the ability to handle multiple projects and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
