Business Intelligence Analyst

Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Business Intelligence Analyst to join our team. In this role, you will leverage your expertise in data analysis and visualization to provide actionable insights that drive business decisions. You will work closely with various departments to understand their data needs and help them achieve their goals through effective reporting and analysis.

While your scope will cover multiple business units, your focus will be on insights for our Sales Organization. Previous experience in Sales Operations roles could be useful.

Duties

• Build and maintain reporting to drive business insights including market analysis, future product opportunities, key customer data, etc.
• Develop and maintain interactive dashboards using tools such as Power BI and Tableau to visualize key performance indicators.
• Conduct thorough business analysis to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for improvement.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications for database design.
• Utilize SQL for querying databases and extracting relevant data for analysis.
• Use Python for data manipulation, automation, and advanced analytics tasks.
• Manage projects effectively, ensuring timely delivery of insights and reports.
• Present findings and recommendations to management in a clear and concise manner.
  
  

Requirements

• Proficiency in Excel, Power BI, Tableau, SQL, and Python is essential.
• Strong understanding of database design principles.
• Experience with business analysis methodologies and project management practices.
• Ability to analyze complex datasets and vaticinate future trends based on historical data.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
• A proactive approach to problem-solving with a strong attention to detail.
• Previous experience in a similar role is a plus but not mandatory.
