Summary:
Supervises and coordinates activities of workers engaged in receiving, storing, issuing, and maintaining machines, equipment, materials, and supplies in fabrication storage building or yard. Oversees shipments in and out of yard and evaluates for specified quantity and quality.
Job Duties:
- Directs workers in loading and unloading materials and in use and care of machines and equipment such as forklifts.
- Dispatches materials and equipment to construction sites.
Qualifications:
- Current Forklift Certification
- Three years or more, or equivalent, of working in a structural steel yard.
- Experience using Tekla or a similar MRP program.
- Knowledge of structural steel including measurements, type, sizes, etc.
Salary : $20 - $35
