Job Overview: The Virtual Design and Construction (VDC) Lead will report to the VDC Manager and will be expected to coordinate with receive direction from EZARC's project teams. This role will provide day-to-day guidance and mentoring to less experienced team members to optimize Navisworks features and follow project modeling and coordination standards. This position can either be located in Arizona or Utah at our EZARC facilities in those states.

May occasionally stand and walk for long periods of time outdoors in heat and cold. May be required to wear a mask or face covering and must be in sufficient health to do so. Must lift 10 pounds frequently and up to 50 pounds on occasion. Must have the hand and finger dexterity to work a keyboard.

- Technical advisor at onsite field office
- Participate in BIM set-up, standards and coordination process on projects
- Establish early standards for data exchange with entire Project Team to optimize use of the BIM for scheduling, quantity take-off, estimating, etc. during all stages of the project
- Participate in technological collaboration between project team members, client, architect, builder, consultants, subcontractors, etc.
- Coordinate and manage model families and initiate coordination efforts using Navisworks Manage
- Facilitate the exchange and coordination of the 3D model with consultants and contractor/fabricators
- Run clash detection studies and generate reports to project team.
- Assign responsible parties' workflows and manage these tasks to successful completion
- Ensure the construction geometry is error-free and presented in an efficient manner for the crews
- Interface with field survey crews and provide building visualization input
- Maintain model libraries throughout the project and create archive record models at completion
- 2-3 years' experience in architectural, engineering or construction (AEC) industry
- Expert level knowledge of Autodesk's Navisworks Manage
- 2-3 years of Revit experience
- Experience in the delivery of large, complex projects
- Ability to communicate and present design and/or construction ideas to a variety of audiences
- Strong verbal, written and electronic communication skills for responding to information requests
- Ability to successfully host, run and document field coordination meetings
- Must be able to access all areas and levels of construction site for work progress review
- Virtual Design and Construction (VDC) methods and digital fabrication experience
- Work remote acceptable up to 25% of time when conditions allow.
- May be required to travel less than 5% of the time.
- Must maintain regular and acceptable attendance.
- Must be available Monday through Friday 5 a.m. to 5 p.m. with occasional Saturdays and hours outside the listed time.
