Job Summary :

The FTTH QA Technician is responsible for ensuring the quality and performance of Fiber to the Home installations and services. This role involves inspecting, testing, and troubleshooting fiber optic systems to maintain high standards of quality and reliability.

Key Responsibilities :

• Installation Quality Assurance : Inspect and verify FTTH installations to ensure they meet company standards and specifications.
• Testing and Troubleshooting : Perform comprehensive testing of fiber optic cables, connectors, and equipment using specialized tools and equipment such as OTDR (Optical Time Domain Reflectometer), power meters, and light sources.
• Documentation : Maintain accurate records of test results, inspections, and any issues identified. Generate detailed reports on the quality and performance of FTTH installations.
• Standards Compliance : Ensure all installations comply with industry standards, safety regulations, and company policies.
• Problem Resolution : Identify, diagnose, and resolve quality issues in a timely manner. Work closely with installation teams to implement corrective actions.
• Customer Interaction : Communicate with customers to address concerns and provide technical support related to FTTH services.
• Training and Support : Provide training and guidance to installation teams on best practices for FTTH installations and quality assurance processes.
• Continuous Improvement : Participate in process improvement initiatives to enhance the overall quality and efficiency of FTTH installations.
