Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the IT department, including hardware, software, networks, and systems administration.
- Develop and implement IT policies, procedures, and best practices to ensure system reliability, data security, and compliance with regulations.
- Manage and mentor a team of IT professionals, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations.
- Plan and execute IT projects, such as system upgrades, migrations, or new technology deployments, within budget and timelines.
- Monitor and maintain network security, including firewalls, antivirus systems, and data backup/recovery processes.
- Collaborate with other departments to identify technology needs and provide solutions that enhance productivity and efficiency.
- Stay updated on emerging technologies and recommend improvements to keep the organization competitive.
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 5 years of experience in IT management or a similar leadership role.
- Proven expertise in managing IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, cloud systems, and cybersecurity tools.
- Strong knowledge of operating systems (e.g., Windows, Linux), enterprise software, and networking protocols.
- Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
- Experience with systems administration, integration and development (Both Web and Desktop applications preferred)
