- Assist clients with all activities of daily living (dressing, shopping, visiting, medication, etc.) in the clients home. Duties and Responsibilities:
- Meet all required visits to the clients home according to policy and state regulations
- Provide a positive, supportive environment in which the client(S) receive their care through your interactions with them
- Report any changes in the clients condition to the office
- Remain engaged with clients throughout the entire visit process including feedback on services provided and completing notes
- Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, grooming, dressing etc.
- Providing support with transfers and mobility as needed
- Assisting with Instrumental Activities of Daily Living (IADLs), such as light housekeeping, laundry, meal preparation, and transportation
- Maintaining accurate and timely documentation
- Upholding client confidentiality with the utmost professionalism
- Delivering exemplary care that aligns with our high standards
Qualifications
- Experience as a live-in caregiver
- 2 years senior care experience
- Proficiency in HIPAA regulations and caregiving practices
- Experience in home care services
- Experience with dementia and hospice clients
- Physical ability to work with individuals and assist with Hoyer lift
