Job Overview
The Inventory Receiver is responsible for managing the intake and organization of goods and materials in the warehouse/manufacturing facility. This role ensures accurate receiving, storage, and inventory control while maintaining a clean, safe, and organized workspace.
Functional Accountabilities
Receiving Shipments: Accurately unload, inspect, and verify incoming goods against purchase orders or delivery notes.
Inventory Updates: Record and maintain accurate inventory levels in the system, addressing any discrepancies promptly.
Storage Management: Organize received items in designated locations, ensuring optimal space utilization and easy accessibility.
Quality Checks: Identify and report damaged or defective items and manage returns or exchanges with suppliers.
Collaboration: Communicate with purchasing, production, and shipping teams to ensure smooth material flow.
Key Competencies
Attention to Detail: Ensure accuracy in receiving, inspecting, and recording inventory.
Time Management: Prioritize tasks efficiently to meet deadlines for receiving and storing goods.
Communication Skills: Collaborate effectively with internal teams and external suppliers.
Technical Proficiency: Use inventory management software and warehouse tools confidently.
Problem-Solving: Address and resolve inventory discrepancies and damaged shipments quickly.

- Accuracy Rate of Received Shipments: Target: 98-100% accuracy.
- Time to Process Incoming Shipments: Target: Process within 24 hours of receipt.
- Inventory Discrepancy Rate: Target: Less than 2% discrepancy rate per month.

Qualifications
- Proven experience in distribution center operations and warehouse environments
- Strong skills in shipping and receiving, order fulfillment, and stocking
- Familiarity with packaging standards
- Previous experience in Cycle counts
- Attention to detail
- Ability to lift 50ibs
- Computer savvy
- Ability to operate forklifts
- knowledge of warehouse management systems
- Proficient in using RF scanners and order picking equipment
- Excellent communication skills and basic math abilities
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $19.00 - $20.00 per hour
