What are the responsibilities and job description for the Production Operator III DL position at Ezurio?
With minimal supervision, the Production Operator III performs production operations including use of equipment to meet company standards for quality and quantity on a rotating basis to produce high quality products in a timely manner.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Produce parts according to blueprints meeting quality and quantity objectives.
- Perform all operations on machines, operating equipment, and production fixtures.
- Verify part accuracy by using various measuring equipment and gauges.
- Complete necessary paperwork on line as needed.
- Quality check parts in the assembly process.
- Assist new employees with learning how to operate equipment, reading blueprints, and ensuring quality.
- Know daily goals and targets to meet.
- Read work orders, follows engineering drawings and/or receives verbal instructions regarding duties.
- Assembles positions and aligns parts in specified relationship to each other.
- Rotation to all departmental jobs with this job classification.
- Inspect and count parts in process and record production quantities.
- Refer production problems to supervisor or other appropriate personnel.
- Assist others with moving parts, operating machines and other press area duties.
- Attend training as required.
- Coordinate with Production Operators ensuring work procedures are being followed.
- Assist set up person with setting up equipment.
- Organize work area for a more efficient, higher quality and safer working environment.
- Perform other duties as assigned or necessary to meet business conditions or changes.
- Adheres to quality and safety systems or maintenance of quality and safety standards.
REQUIREMENTS
- Know all functions of the equipment including its capabilities and limitations.
- Basic computer and math skills.
- Ability to recognize types of materials.
- Basic written and oral communication skills.
- Attention to detail.
- Must have good or corrected eyesight to insure quality of work.
- Ability to use both hands for repetitive wrist, hand, and finger motions.
- Ability to sit or stand for extended periods of time.
- Ability to lift 30 lbs. on an occasional basis.
- Ability to read and comprehend simple work instructions, engineering drawings and company policies
- Experience working in assembly of small components, keyboarding, checking, for manual dexterity preferred.
- Perform the job requirements of Production Operator or other manufacturing function for 3 years.
