Responsibilities:
- Develop and expand client base by identifying new sales opportunities through prospecting, networking, and referrals.
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with contractors, builders, and home improvement professionals.
- Conduct in-home and office sales presentations, including product demonstrations and consultations.
- Provide expert product knowledge on flooring, lighting, and doors to guide purchasing decisions.
- Achieve a monthly minimum of self-generated sales through business development efforts.
- Attend sales meetings and training sessions, both in-person and virtually.
- CLOSE deals effectively and ensure timely follow-ups for order fulfillment.
- Work closely with internal teams to coordinate sales orders, pricing, and customer service.
- Maintain accurate records of leads, sales activities, and customer interactions in a CRM system.
- Use electronic tablets and measuring devices in connection with sales presentations.
- Ensure a professional, customer-focused approach, delivering exceptional service.
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years of sales experience in home improvement, building materials, flooring, lighting, or doors.
- Proven ability to consistently achieve or exceed sales targets in a competitive environment.
- Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation with room for flooring sample boards.
- Ability to travel locally to meet customers in their homes, offices, and job sites.
- Experience using CRM tools and sales tracking systems is a plus.
- Ability to work independently, manage a sales pipeline, and meet deadlines.
