Essential Job Responsibilities :

The Marketing Manager will be responsible for developing and executing marketing strategies to attract new members, promotion credit union products and services, maintain brand awareness, and manage the overall marketing function by analyzing market trends, while creating advertising campaigns through various communication channels.

  • Support the strategic growth goals of the organization through the development and execution of compelling marketing campaigns.
  • Manage department budget, personnel, workflow, and deadlines.
  • Develop individual and departmental goals; analyze and report on all marketing efforts; provide actionable insights in leadership.
  • Effectively manage the relationship with our external Marketing Agency to develop and refine marketing plans, strategies, and targeted programs for deepening engagement with existing members and promoting new membership growth.
  • Manage the execution of internal and external communications, marketing plans and campaigns.
  • Ensure all department deadlines are met; ensure accuracy, compliance, and effectiveness of all marketing materials; make proactive corrections to achieve quality outcomes.
  • Monitor and manage social media presence and ensure timely / appropriate response.
  • Ensure the website remains up to date and accurate.
  • Develop and manage the company intranet.
  • Evaluate potential new vendors and effectively manage all current vendor relationships.
  • Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in related discipline preferred.
  • Five to seven years’ experience managing the marketing function, ideally in a financial services organization.
  • Highly organized and detail-orientated with strong project and vendor management skills.
  • A strong understanding of data analytics and how to leverage data to create successful marketing campaigns using primarily digital channels.
  • 5 years of related experience including management of people and large-scale projects.
  • Extensive knowledge of consumer behavior, digital marketing, websites, and financial services compliance regulations.
  • Experience with social media marketing, search engine optimization, paid search advertising and marketing automation.
  • Demonstrated success in problem solving, managing projects, working with outside agencies, and driving marketing results using data analysis.
  • Hands on understanding of website development and online / mobile banking platforms, computer systems, CRM, CMS, SEO, SEM / PPC, project management tools, Adobe Create Suite and MS Office.
